🎃🐾 Get ready, Meeker! The Howl-o-Ween event at the Meeker Animal Shelter is back! Bring your pets to “trick or treat,” take fun photos, and enjoy goodies for both kids and pets.

Last weekend, the Meeker High School cross country team wrapped up its regular season on the road in Craig, Colorado, at the Whistle Pig Invitational, earning a fourth-place team finish with 117 points and a combined team time of 1 hour, 39 minutes, 9 seconds. The Rangely High School football team celebrates a dominant 60-12 victory over Lake County Friday, Oct. 17, while honoring their seniors: Logan Benson (40), Tomas Lambros (50), Wyatt Stevens (58), Wyatt Petty (64), Jeren Blankenship (71), Braden Lucas (79), Hunter Stewart (82), Keegan Harris (89) and Chase Cochrane (23). The Panthers will close out their regular season on the road at Plateau Valley on Friday, Oct. 24.
