Remembering the Life & Legacy of Ronald B. Griffin
My heart is heavy today as I honor a man who forever changed my life. Ron wasn’t just someone I loved—he believed in me, supported my dreams, and trusted me to help tell his story to the world. *A Life Altered* began as a distraction from pain, but it became his legacy.
For years he battled debilitating pain, not knowing a larger storm was growing. On October 7, 2025, we learned he had stage 4 colon, liver, and lung cancer. Despite the odds, Ron chose to fight. And when someone you love chooses to fight… you fight beside them. Those months were heartbreaking, sacred, and filled with lessons I’ll carry forever.
I’m grateful for every moment, every conversation, every laugh, every stubborn argument, and every lesson he gave me. I am better for having known him. I’m relieved he’s no longer suffering, and I’ll always honor who he was.
Ron wanted to leave something behind for his children, grandchildren, and future generations—and he did. His story, his purpose, and his heart remain.
When you see a rocket launch on the Space Coast, think of him. His passion for SpaceX reached the sky—just like his spirit.
Rest now, Ron. This isn’t goodbye… just “Until I see you again.”
