❗️A Glimpse into HOCO 2023❗️

All this week, we’re planning on releasing highlight reels of the best moments from each Homecoming event two weeks ago! Stay tuned and make sure to check out each reel as some clips will be featured in the full HOCO 2023 recap video that will be released towards the end of this week/beginning of next week. We also have a separate “concert doc” featuring 🅰️1️⃣ footage we took of Saint Motel.

Ngl y’all, the indie aesthetic and top tier cinematography that we’re packing in these videos is gonna be wild.

This took longer than expected, but finally, here is our E-Board for the 2022-2023 school year!

We got some fresh new faces this year, all of which are helping trick out the studio to new aesthetics, and helping with some new school and independent productions 💯

It’s been a minute since we last posted, so we wanted to start off by saying that we hope everyone stayed safe during the hurricane for the last two days.

On Monday, we’re gonna be releasing some fuego content that we’ve been working on since the start of the year. To start off, we’re gonna drop the highly requested ~Homecoming 2022 Recap~ Video. If you ask me, this ish got some 🅰️1️⃣ aesthetics with some wholesome moments sprinkled in between. Make sure you check it out on our YouTube channel (LINK COMING SOON)!

Our Story

Florida Tech Video Productions, as it is so aptly named, is Florida Tech's own TV station and video production house. We got started in the late 80's as simply a Friday night live news show in the campus auditorium (Gleason Performing Arts Center) and broadened our scope as VHS cameras, fondly known as 'shoulder mounted bazookas' became both popular and affordable. As the crew quickly gained support for their crazy antics with a video camera, we grew into what we are now--a school-wide film production house for all clubs and campus groups. After recovering from Hurricane Fay in 2008, we upped the ante by bringing in new equipment, new faces, and new ambitions. Our weekly meetings take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. every Friday in the FITV Studio behind Grissom Hall.
