September 11, 2001, an entire generation was asked to grow up in a single day. Nearly 3,000 lives were stolen from us. The world stopped turning, but our first responders and veterans ran toward the chaos, toward the collapse, and into a crucible of duty and defiance. They carried out the greatest rescue mission this country has ever seen.
Today, we honor not only those who lost their lives in the attacks, but also those who sacrificed their innocence to respond to the call—ordinary men and women who became extraordinary heroes. We remember the lives lost, the courage shown, and the resilience that carried us forward in the days, weeks, and years that followed.

The SHEEPDOG Program is a licensed and credentialed counseling program for both mental health and substance abuse. We offer a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and an Intensive Out Patient (IOP) Program created specifically for Veterans, Federal and State Law Enforcement Officers, and First Responders. This group is unique and only open those who meet these prerequisites or those who get special approval by the program director.
This program is designed to provide innovative treatment approaches utilizing a unique take on peer reviewed and empirically proven interventions. The treatment is provided by professionals who are committed to understanding the character, sacrifices, and motivation of our Veterans, Law Enforcement Officers, and First Responders.
Our treatment approach is led and adapted by our program director, who is a retired Force Reconnaissance Marine and Marine Raider from Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC).
The Sheepdog program provides a comprehensive, tailor made program customized for each individual based off their presenting issues. We believe that there is never a generic predetermined program that should be blanketed across every client. Every case is reviewed by the program director, medical director, and the FCC Chief of Clinical Operations to provide the most direct and efficient approach to addressing each clients concerns. The program is fully capable of addressing mental health, behavioral health, TBI, stress management, physical trauma, emotional trauma, and addiction issues.
The Florida Counseling Centers clinical team includes a Psychiatrist, Psychologists, Mental Health Counselors, a Marriage and Family Therapist, Social Workers, a Chiropractor, a Nutritionist, a Massage Therapist, and a Yoga Instructor.
This complex approach has found amazing efficiency for assisting clients in processing and resolving issues related to their time in service, with their family and community, and as a private citizen managing the stressors of life. This program utilizes a matchless combination of providers under one roof with the personal feel of a private practice. Florida Counseling Centers is also partnered with Journey Pure, who is one of the most successful providers of addiction treatment facilities across the nation.
The Sheepdog Program is trademarked by C.A.L.M. in the Storm INC and is provided through Florida Counseling Centers by Journeypure (FCC).
