So many full circle and rewarding moments wrapped into one day! Last week I joined the Memphis Redbirds for their first ever women’s empowerment day.

I’ve been going to AutoZone Park for as long as I can remember (swipe right for proof 😂), so when their team approached me to work on this project, I was so excited.

We provided a day for over 800 young girls and built a unique space for women leaders to network. Our panel was meaningful for me and for all the students who joined us.
One of the questions was what advice I’d give to my younger self. What I told them was this: “Everyone has a unique set of circumstances, and what matters is how you react to it. The things you have to do separate from everyone else will always pay off.”

I think about where I was 10 years ago and am thankful for the journey. It’s what got me to into a seat to help others with theirs. 🩷

When the Memphis Redbirds approached me in April about collaborating on a women’s event this fall- I was like absolutely! As the city with the most women owned small businesses, I am always striving to create spaces for us to connect, grow and build business.

“Post more and be consistent” is not a strategy and let’s be honest, as business owners, it isn’t always at the top of the to-do list.

Let’s hear it for the Girls!!!! Saturday’s Seams Like your Style was a hit. 🙌🏻🩷

This event was such a fun one to plan, coordinate and promote.

Hot take: sometimes PR is not a press release, and brand awareness is not another piece of content. Instead, it is about tapping into your community and physically getting in front of your audience.

Through collaboration, aligned brand strategy and intentional promotion, Cari's Closet was able to showcase her services in a way that supported the community that she already serves.

Backstory: Cari and I met through the Co.Starters cohort with Epicenter Memphis Memphis back in 2023 and our businesses have grown up together in a way. 🥹

This refresh went beyond a photo shoot. CFC worked along side Cari to rebuild her brand strategy. Cari’s work never changed but the way she wanted talk about it needed to. With new brand values, a new mission statement, and customer personas that actually capture who she serves, Cari’s Closet became what I always knew it was.🤍

Special thanks to Erica Haskett and Olivia Talley for collaborating on this project! You both brought my vision to life.

Happy World PR Day!

Every day someome hands me their business and says “tell my story” and that is something I don’t take lightly. That’s real trust. They have put years into this, sometimes their savings, sometimes their name, and they’re letting me take that and put it into the world.

Every caption, every pitch, every piece of messaging is somebody’s reputation. Getting to help carry that and make sure it lands right? That’s the best part of this job. This industry changes constantly, but that part doesn’t.

I am Grateful for every client who’s trusted me with their story and to all the other pros who do this job with integrity. 🩷🌍👩‍💻

May is Small Business Month and small businesses are the reason for CFC.

When I graduated college, I saw a gap in how small business owners struggled with finding unique creative and strategic solutions.

That’s the problem Cecilia Fay Creative exists to solve.

This is a boutique agency, and boutique is intentional. When you work with me, you get me and not a rotating team of account managers who don’t know your business.

Every strategy I build is tailored to YOUR business and not someone else’s. Content and community building becomes intentional, consistent and purposeful. Because showing up inconsistently with no plan isn’t a strategy, it’s just noise.
