The unmistakable groove behind timeless Royal Studios classics by Al Green, Willie Mitchell, Ann Peebles, Syl Johnson, O.V. Wright, and countless others, Leroy’s bass playing helped shape the sound of Memphis soul. His continued to inspire generations of musicians around the world.

Thank you for a lifetime of unforgettable music and for laying down the foundation of a sound that will live forever.
