It seems like a great time to offer a little more encouragement from Melanie Redd & Hope Ministry!

🙌🏻 Today, in our Women’s Life Group at Fayette Baptist Church, we did “The Stance” together.

🙌🏻 THE STANCE – is your testimony before the Lord, other people, and all of the principalities of good and even that you are not giving up!

No matter how challenging your world is, you are going to stand in praise to God.

No matter how hard life is – you are taking the stance by faith.

🪧 Ephesians 6:13-14a says…

…”and after you have done everything, to STAND. STAND firm then,…”

🙏🏻 To Pray & Declare Out Loud:

“Lord, I still trust You and I will continue to do so!

I’m not quitting or giving up – no matter what!

Today, I stand in faith and courage and put my life completely into Your hands!

I trust You, Jesus! You will not fail me. You will not let me down. You will never leave me. You adore me, and I adore You!

As we enter 2026, I stand in faith and declare that I will trust You!”

🙌🏻 Why not do “THE STANCE” with us today?

🩵 On Sunday, I got to teach the amazing Women’s Life Group at our church.

(I love these beautiful ladies!)

🙌🏻 We talked about asking and inviting God to do MORE in 2026.

This, in fact, is my word for the new year… MORE!

🩵 And I love this quote on MORE:

“God is calling you deeper because He intends to trust you with MORE:

- more authority,
- more clarity,
- more responsibility,
- more peace,
- more influence, and more of His presence woven into every corner of your life.”

📌 So…

* Do you and I really want MORE of God?

* MORE from God?

* MORE with God?

* Do we want Him to boost, raise, and increase everything in our lives?

YES! I know I do!

🙏🏻 Let’s ask God to do MUCH MORE in & with & through our lives in 2026!!

Prayer for More:
“Lord, is there anything you want me to give up, give over, or lay at Your feet. I’m willing! I’m willing to talk with You more about this! I want MORE in this new year. I want You to have complete freedom to pour out Your power and Your goodness in my life!”

💙 Let’s be honest. 💙

There are days when walking with Jesus doesn’t feel like victory songs and mountaintops.

It feels like dragging your feet through gravel with lungs that can’t quite catch a full breath.

Faith isn’t shiny in those moments; it’s survival. It’s clinging to God with trembling hands and whispering, “Don’t let go of me.”

🩷 If that’s where you are, you’re not alone. Scripture doesn’t hide the raw parts. David wrote psalms with more tears than triumph.

Elijah begged God to take his life after calling down fire from heaven. Paul confessed he was “utterly burdened beyond strength.”

Faith has never been about pretending the ache isn’t real; it’s about daring to believe God is still in it.

🩷 Recently, I’ve been re-reading a wonderful little book called “Be Still, My Soul” by Elisabeth Elliot.

The other day, I got to the end of a chapter and came across this very well-known quote of hers.

It was just sitting there at the close of a chapter.

No fanfare.

Not even an exclamation point.

🙌🏻 But there should be a bright neon sign shouting this one…

❓Ever feel disappointed with how things are going in your life?

- Maybe someone let you down?
- Something didn’t go your way.
- Someone or something didn’t come through for you.
- You didn’t get that job.
- That person never called you back.
- The money never came through.
- Maybe even one of your prayers has never been answered.

I’ve been there!

All of us have!

It is so hard & discouraging!
