Hi folks - it's Dan. You know PFR (Pray for Rain), right? Joel Hanson, Patrick Andrew, and Mark Nash. I’ve only met Joel and Patrick briefly, but I’ve known Mark for many years and he's a terrific friend. PFR is doing a Kickstarter to re-issue an album that really didn't get the shot it deserved when their record label shut down the week it came out. Back when I was at Tattoo Records (home to Common Children, Christine Glass, The Choir, and others), I brought Mark in to produce a few records. Do you remember Massivivid? Or a ska band called Buck? Mark is a talented musician, writer, and longtime friend. I hope you'll take a peek at their KS!

When my son Kaden Wittig was first born he spent nights on the Pillar tour bus. When he was just a little guy he would sit stage-side with his big headphones on and play his drum sticks along with Lester, once with POD for "Youth of the Nation". A few times he ran out on stage during a show with his little guitar and rocked next to me. Then Pillar stopped touring for many years.

Now 20 years later, Kaden is directing our new full-length documentary "Pillar: Beyond the Frontline" which covers our history and return to performing. Kaden has been a filmmaker since he was very little and now is an award winning writer and director. I am so proud of all he has been accomplishing. There is nobody better than Kaden to capture who Pillar was, is now, and share it all with you. Check out Kaden's recent interview talking about the film HERE: https://youtu.be/LJ5W3Q19W6I

"Pillar: Beyond the Frontline" will have its red carpet premiere October 12, 2025 at the House of Blues in Dallas. I hope many of you can join us and Kaden for this once in a lifetime event.
