🌿 Living simply, loving deeply. I’m a wife, mama, and homesteader learning as I go—growing food, raising animals, and making the most of what we have. I believe in hard work, home-cooked meals, and slowing down to enjoy the little things. Sharing our journey so others know they can do it too. ❤️

It’s not “conspiracy.” It’s called connecting the dots.

I need your help!!! Please follow these steps to help get this fake page removed. I work extremely hard creating this platform to teach others how to homestead and live more simply. It’s heartbreaking to see someone stealing my hard work to make money off of it and scam others.

These are the steps:

1. Go to my REAL page & copy the page link.
2. Go to the scam account, click the three dots, and hit “report page”.
3. Hit “something about this page”
4. Hit “fake page”
5. Select “pretending to be a friend”
6. PASTE the REAL Polk Farms link.

Thank you guys for having my back and supporting me. I love this amazing community of people. You guys are awesome!! ❤️

Love, Samantha Polk Farms

Welcome to my official page ❤️

This is my only genuine account. 92,000 of you have fell for the scam account, Robert RT, who is impersonating me. I would love it if you followed me here so I can officially get Robert RT removed.

It doesn’t get bitter cold here in Mississippi, but we still prepare our meat rabbits for the chill! We use the deep litter method for warmth, add tarps and metal for wind blocks, and keep their water fresh and feed topped up. Here’s our simple, southern-style rabbit care routine for winter. 🐇❤️

We care for 56 animals every morning—with two kids—and our chores still take less than 30 minutes.

Not because we’re superhuman… but because we focused on building systems, not routines we have to muscle through every day.

Timed water, split troughs, feed stations right where they’re used, 5-gallon waterers, and our deer feeder setup changed everything for us. Homesteading shouldn’t be a sunup-to-sundown grind every single day—you can build efficiency and still care for animals well.

Everyone says they want “farm fresh,” “local,” “organic,” “real food”… but when it comes time to actually support the hands that grow it, most people default back to whatever is cheapest and most convenient on a shelf.

And I get it — times are hard. Most of us are feeling it. But that’s exactly why this message matters even more. Local food will not survive if people only support it when it’s trendy, convenient, or Instagram aesthetic. Small farmers aren’t out here getting government subsidies, chemical shortcuts, or corporate backing. We’re getting up before the sun, growing food with actual care, and in many cases still handing it over to people on a pay-what-you-can basis because we believe feeding families matters more than profit.

This is not entitlement. This is awareness. This is a reminder that if we keep choosing convenience over community… one day, convenience will be all that’s left. And when that happens, food won’t be local, it won’t be clean, and it definitely won’t be controlled by the people who care about your health or your children’s future.

I don’t grow food to get rich. I grow food because I refuse to let my family — and maybe another hungry family — be 100% dependent on a broken system. If you want local food to stay available… it starts with respecting the ones who grow it.

Preserving our own food has become one of the most rewarding parts of homesteading. It’s more than just canning jars on a shelf—it’s peace of mind.

✅ Saves money — Buying or growing in bulk and preserving it keeps food costs down all year long.
✅ Cuts down on waste — Instead of letting food spoil, we turn it into something useful and shelf-stable.
✅ Healthier ingredients — No hidden preservatives, dyes, or fillers—just simple, real food.
✅ Convenience — Having ready-to-grab jars or frozen meals makes busy days so much easier.
✅ Food security — A stocked pantry means you’re less dependent on grocery stores and rising prices.
✅ A huge confidence boost — There’s something empowering about knowing you can provide for your family with your own hands.

Even if you don’t have a big garden, you can still preserve food from local farms or store sales. Start small—one jar, one batch—and watch your confidence grow.
