Foliage on May 1st? An evening sundown illuminated the tree buds enhancing the reds and yellows for just a moment, as the storm clouds rolled in. Taken on Lower Baker Pond in Orford, NH yesterday as I drove home from a hike in Franconia Notch. The last photo was at an icy Lonesome Lake where I was surprised to hike on snow covered trails.

The highest level of cross country competition in the SuperTour Finals at Mt. Van Hoevenberg, Lake Placid from March 26th-30th 2025. Elite skiers from all over the country competed for points and prizes in a variety of weather from 50 degrees and sunny to rain, and ice over 4 days. This event rocks!
