Hey Listeners -
I know I'm not as active on Facebook as I am on Instagram but I wanted to share the Tess Hilt page.
Tess's former classmate has poured in so much time and dedication into researching her case, passing tips on to law enforcement, and keeping visibility out there.
Give the page a follow ❤️

Yesterday marked the 43 year anniversary of the attempted m*rder of Ora Owens and the subsequent abduction of her four-year-old son Mitchell.
The day prior I had shared Ora's heartfelt message and yesterday I put together a brief video summary of his case.
I will be releasing the full podcast episode I have been working on with his mother on 2/16. However, in the meantime please share this video and his story to keep the momentum going.
Ora is hoping his story reaches as many people as possible so that it jogs somebody's memory or motivates someone to come forward.

Some quick facts:
🔹The perpetrator was a white man who entered through her ground floor apartment window.
🔹 He did not wear a mask.
🔹She recalls him having a poorly done amateur/prison tattoo of a dog on his arm.
🔹His method was bludge0ning her with a phone and ligature str@ngulation with the phone cord.
🔹Mitchell was initially classified as a runaway. AT FOUR. 🫠
🔹She remembers the person being tall but Ora is also 4'11" and she was laying down, so she said he just appeared big standing over her.
🔹Ora had only lived at the apartment a few weeks.

Please share this video and tune into the full length episode. Ora deserves answers.

Call To Action 📞 Please share this video!!

Please join Ora Owens on February 3, 2026, from 1:00 to 6:00 PM
315 Pierce Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025

For the past several weeks, I have been working closely with Ora to help share her story and the story of her son, Mitchell Deon Owens. Our full episode will be out in a couple of weeks, but this morning Ora reached out and asked me to share this message now because it has been weighing heavily on her heart.

Ora is currently in California for the 43 year anniversary tomorrow, and she is asking for community support.

And when I tell you, Ora is someone who usually carries everything herself. She is strong, independent, and even though she is not even five feet tall, she is an absolute force. Asking for help does not come easily to her.

If you or someone you know lives in the greater Peninsula area and can show up to support her, please do. If you cannot attend, please share this video so her message can reach others.

This message is raw, and it may break your heart, but Ora’s unfiltered story deserves to be heard.

On February 3, 1983, an unknown man broke into Ora’s home, attempted to m*rder her, and abducted her young son, Mitchell. It's the stuff of nightmares and she has been living in it for over four decades without closure.

Thank you for helping amplify her voice and for standing with her. 🤍

PLEASE SHARE:
Washington D.C. Area

In the summer of 1993, 18-year-old Audrey Hamilton was an aspiring model working at McDonalds on Martin Luther King Avenue. She had worked until midnight and was walking back home. Because it was late at night and she had to navigate some higher crime neighborhoods, she carried an empty glass bottle with her for protection.
She never made it home and was found brutally ass@ulted and m*rdered behind a house on the 600 block of Savannah Street SE.

This case has hardly gotten any coverage over the years and as such, I wanted to provide a platform to share her story and push to change that. The old newspaper archives were mostly bare so my friend and I submitted a FOIA request to the Metropolitan Police Department. The woman working was extraordinarily kind and helpful to my friend, however, there is just so very little on the case and some of it has inconsistencies and has been lost to time. Ultimately, those police records didn't give us too much information.

There were other crimes similar in that same neighborhood, one that was even recently solved and could have some sort of connection.

I would love to share her story more fully and also share more about her beyond just the tragic day her life ended. When we requested her records we were told that there were loved ones who still actively are in contact about her case, but they obviously cannot release that information about who to us. If they so wish, I'd love the opportunity to connect.

Please share this so that it hopefully reaches the right people ❤️

And If you have any information about Audrey's case, please contact the MPD's Command Information Center at (202) 727-9099 or email [email protected]
