Happy 66th birthday to Dana Carvey, who prior to his SNL and Wayne's World fame made his feature film debut in 1981's Halloween II, as an assistant to a Haddonfield TV reporter covering Myers' carnage (that's him on the left). 🔪🎃

Halloween Trivia:

Talk about a limited release! The popularity of John Carpenter's Halloween spread slowly across America after its initial release on October 25, 1978 in a single city, Kansas City, Missouri.

Once word of mouth started to spread, the film went on to gross an unbelievable for its time, $47 million dollars at the box office.

Halloween ended up being the most profitable independent film ever made for over a decade. Not too shabby!
