Dear Merced restaurant owners, chefs, food trucks, drink spots, home based food & bakers, and grocers etc ‼️
i am coming humbly before you with a request to please stop using chatGPt/AI food in your advertising 😭 personally i want to see YOUR food! real gooey cheese, sugar glistening cupcakes, beautifully layered matcha, unique cultural foods - let me see what it really looks like!!! 😍 your taste buds start with your eyes! this does not look appealing, it actually kind of makes me naeseous when i see AI food, it also triggers something called “trypophobia” 🥹
also for those of you that make event flyers, they are all starting to look the same, it’s really hard to find a location or date on some of them, and if you’re using QR codes, it does something to them when you run the prompt and makes them not work anymore. try the app Canva instead! its free! 🖤
i am sharing also because im seeing out there in comment land people are choosing to avoid places that use these flyers. not just because the food looks fake but because of the waste of resources that generative AI uses. just something to think about 🏘️
