We host an annual international film

festival called the Violette Film Festival in merced California every fall. Come see the short films and the sandlot feature film!

Film block 1 starts at 4:30pm rated for All ages and family

Film block 2 starts at 8 films are rated pg-13 to R for language and violence

Also we will have two life world premieres.
Blood fury (France rated R 8:30pm )
And Deadpool vrs John wick (rated R 9pm)
Both films are in the second film block and recommend for older audiences, date night maybe? Q&A to follow after the film block at 9:30

Updates: so after much delay we have updates as follows:
1. Due to funding we had delayed we have moved the vioeltte film festival live even to Saturday March 29th 2025. It will be at the Merced theatre location and our goal is still to make it a free event for the public to enjoy!
Plus we have some cool announcements coming very soon!

2. we have a few films in production currently and they are on the road to having a live premiere at the festival in March before moving on to festivals around the world.

3. Violette films is going through a restructuring and we will also be unveiling a new logo and project updates on February 1st. So keep an eye out! Also we have a new company we are creating that will be handing special effects and props for projects.
