Today has been filled with grief—our family lost the most amazing guy. I’m grateful to have spent summers spending time with him growing up…listening to his stories and anything he wanted to teach me, following him around to see what project he was up to, and always learning so much in the quality time we spent together. He taught me the concept of leverage, how to cook his special dishes, how to build things, and truly how to most importantly pay attention to even the smallest of things, because the details matter. He had a long, fruitful life filled with family who love him. The guy who gave us all our signature smiles & where some of us inherited our dimples with those smiles. Every time we have ice cream or root beer, we’ll remember you, may even keep a spoon in the freezer just because of you. You’ll be missed endlessly Grampa Jack, until I see you again 🤍🕊️
