UPTDATE: 911 service is experiencing outages across the state after an ATT fiber line was damaged Thursday. MEMA Director Scott Simmons said it appears the entire state was affected, but they are still learning the extent of the outages.
Some county offices have also been affected.
Crews are on the ground addressing issues right now.

Emergency officials in Meridian and Lauderdale County say 911 services are currently down statewide, and residents should use alternate numbers if they need immediate help.
City officials said Thursday that anyone in Meridian with an emergency should call 601-616-2224.
Lauderdale County residents should call 601-482-9823.
Clarke County residents should call 601-776-1386 or 601-274-2165.
Kemper County residents should call 601-656-3121.
Neshoba County residents should call 601-656-3121 or 601-656-1414 ext. 0
Newton County Residents should call 601-745-3605.
Officials urged the public to keep the numbers accessible until the statewide outage is resolved.
They said crews are working to restore 911 service and thanked residents for their patience.
