30”x30” maple Pichenotte board with solid wood pockets and some custom graphics. Finished off with lots of layers of oil based polyurethane. Each coat was sprayed on, sanded, then vacuumed clean with my Festool HEPA dust extractor before repeating the process over and over. I finished it with the final two coats sprayed and sanded with 1,000 grit sandpaper and brown sandwich bag paper so it’s as smooth as glass and the game pieces slide nicely. I’m happy to know this board will be enjoyed for many years to come. Now on to the next project!

Another walnut live edge charcuterie board finished and ready to go. This one has some really cool figuring in the grain between the two areas of heartwood as well as some cool knots. Custom and standard built reloadable mortar rack examples. I can customize things however you want, I know not everyone wants a tank of a build, but the only rule is I won’t cut cut costs to the point that the end product is a rack I wouldn’t use myself. Not much stock on hand for shows today but in a pinch all my contact info available on this page. I also do have 12” HDPE DR11 tubes if needed. If your show is this weekend I can probably make you what you need, the earlier you contact me the better.

The first few 4oz tins of our Board butter were filled and labeled today. Every board comes with a free tin, but we also have them for sale as well. Made of all natural food grade ingredients in small batches. Doing it this way may be harder and more time consuming but it allows us to ensure every tin that goes out the door is a consistent, high quality product that will make future board maintenance easy.

Both my table saw and my mitre saw now have some real blades in them. Happy to have making some perfectly finished cuts in the shop. I love that I can just send them back and get them sharpened as needed. You can really tell serious effort went into manufacturing these.

Just got these wired for 220v along with the rest of the shop. A 15 inch band saw and a 6 inch helical head jointer. Helical heads really are a game changer, so quiet and they leave a glass finish compared to HSS cutters. They’ve been getting a lot of use lately so today is maintenance day.
