My Life Testimony: A Journey of Faith and Resilience
My mom died when she was just 32. I was only 15 at the time, and suddenly, I found myself an orphan and homeless. I remember sitting alone, tears streaming down my face, asking myself, “Where will I be when I turn 32?” If my life was to be as short as my mom’s, I needed to make it meaningful.
Many people rejected me, devalued me, insulted me, and showed me no love at all. Some offered me a place to stay, but it always came with conditions. Looking back, I don’t blame them; as a child, I was stubborn, disrespectful, and often stole to survive.
Two uncles loved me deeply, but life’s battles limited what they could do. Yet, their small acts of kindness fulfilled a deep yearning in my heart. Most of the time, I lived in my thoughts, talking to God in prayer. While others enjoyed the comfort of their beds, I often lay on cold cement floors, sometimes without even a blanket to shield me from the chill.
Despite these hardships, some people blessed me with unconditional love. My childhood friends, Richard and Prophet Telvin, were my sources of joy and happiness. There was no competition between us, no envy. We shared what little we had, played, danced, and laughed together. In their company, sorrow had no place. I cherish those memories and often reflect on our time together.
Fast forward to May 16, 2024—I just turned 30. Here I am in America, with a wonderful wife and beautiful children. I didn’t come to visit; I am now a proud part of this country. My children are citizens, and I hold a State ID, Green Card, and Social Security number. How did this happen? There is only one answer: God did it!
If you knew me then, you’d know I never dreamed of traveling. It was beyond my means and imagination. I endured years of stomach ulcers, plagued by severe pain because finding food was a daily struggle.
When I received my first salary in US dollars, converting it to Ghanaian currency made me a millionaire. All I did was love God, follow Him, and seek to fulfill His desires. That path has brought me immense blessings. Shout hallelujah with me—God came through for me, and He will come through for you too.
My story is long, filled with trials and triumphs. This is just a glimpse. Be encouraged by my testimony, and know that you too will have your own story of victory.
God bless Kimberly, Lusero, Bria, and my beautiful wife Kiara. God bless Kilson, Moses, and my Spiritual Mentors who became like fathers to me: Reinhard Bonnke, A.A. Allen, Bishop Dag, Pastor Hughes, and Rev. Clottey.
May you find hope and inspiration in my journey. Trust in God, for He is always faithful.
