Apple Crumble Yorkie Bombs ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”ฅ A British twist you wonโ€™t believe!

Total time: 50 minutes
Prep time: 20 minutes, Cook time: 30 minutes

Ingredients for 6 servings:
2 large eggs
100 ml whole milk
70 g plain flour
Pinch of salt
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 apples (peeled, cored, diced)
25 g brown sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp lemon juice
40 g plain flour (for crumble)
25 g cold butter (cubed)
25 g granulated sugar
Custard or cream, for serving

Tools:
Muffin tin

Step 1/4
2 large eggs - 100 ml whole milk - 70 g plain flour - Pinch of salt.
Whisk together eggs, milk, flour, and salt until smooth. Let batter rest for 10 minutes. Preheat oven to 220ยฐC. Divide vegetable oil into 6 muffin tin holes and place the tin in the oven to heat up.

Step 2/4
2 tbsp vegetable oil.
Carefully pour the rested batter into hot oil-filled muffin holes. Bake for 20 minutes until puffed and golden. Do not open oven door during baking.

Step 3/4
2 apples - 25 g brown sugar - 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon - 1 tbsp lemon juice.
In a pan, cook apples with sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice over medium heat for 10 minutes until soft and syrupy. Set aside.

Step 4/4
40 g plain flour - 25 g cold butter - 25 g granulated sugar.
Rub butter into flour and sugar to form coarse crumbs. Bake on a tray at 180ยฐC for 10 minutes until golden. Fill each Yorkshire pudding with warm apple compote, top with crumble, and drizzle with custard or cream to serve.

Peppercorn Steak & Cheesy Wedges ๐Ÿ–๐Ÿง€ The ultimate indulgent duo!

Total time: 45 minutes
Prep time: 15 minutes, Cook time: 30 minutes

Ingredients for 2 servings:
2 large potatoes
250 g rump steak
1 tbsp crushed black peppercorns
2 tbsp salted butter
1 tbsp olive oil
75 g grated cheddar cheese
Salt to taste
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Step 1/4
2 large potatoes - 1 tbsp olive oil - Salt to taste.
Preheat oven to 220ยฐC. Cut potatoes into thick wedges, toss with olive oil and salt, and spread on a baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.

Step 2/4
250 g rump steak - 1 tbsp crushed black peppercorns - Salt to taste.
While wedges bake, slice rump steak into thin strips. Season with salt and coat with crushed peppercorns.

Step 3/4
2 tbsp salted butter.
Heat a pan over high heat and melt butter. Sear steak strips for 1โ€“2 minutes per side until browned and coated in peppercorn butter. Remove from heat.

Step 4/4
75 g grated cheddar cheese - Fresh parsley (optional).
Sprinkle cheddar over hot potato wedges and return to oven for 2 minutes until melted. Plate wedges, pile steak strips on top, and garnish with parsley if using.

Crispy Sardine Spinach Crowns ๐ŸŸ๐Ÿฅฌ Puff pastry gets a savoury upgrade!

Prep time: 20 minutes, Cook time: 20 minutes

Ingredients for 6 servings:
1 sheet puff pastry (250 g)
1 can sardines in olive oil (120 g), drained
150 g fresh spinach
1 small red onion, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
100 g cream cheese
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Sesame seeds, for topping (optional)

Step 1/4
1 tbsp olive oil - 1 small red onion - 1 garlic clove - 150 g fresh spinach.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sautรฉ onion and garlic until softened, then add spinach and cook until wilted. Season with salt and pepper. Let cool slightly.

Step 2/4
1 can sardines - 100 g cream cheese.
In a bowl, mash sardines with cream cheese. Add the cooled spinach mixture and mix until combined.

Step 3/4
1 sheet puff pastry - 1 egg.
Preheat oven to 200ยฐC. Cut puff pastry into 6 equal squares. Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each. Fold all four corners toward the center to form a crown shape. Press gently to seal. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds if using.

Step 4/4
Bake the crowns on a lined baking tray for 18โ€“20 minutes, or until golden and puffed. Serve warm.

Sticky Garlic Herb Sausages ๐Ÿง„๐ŸŒฟ The ultimate sweet & savoury bite!

Ingredients for 4 servings:
8 pork sausages
3 tbsp honey
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
1 tsp wholegrain mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Step 1/4
8 pork sausages - 1 tbsp olive oil.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausages and cook for 10โ€“12 minutes, turning occasionally, until evenly browned.

Step 2/4
3 tbsp honey - 2 tbsp soy sauce - 4 garlic cloves - 1 tbsp fresh rosemary - 1 tbsp fresh thyme - 1 tsp wholegrain mustard - Salt and pepper.
In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, rosemary, thyme, mustard, salt, and pepper to make the glaze.

Step 3/4
Pour the glaze over the sausages. Reduce heat to low and cook for another 10โ€“12 minutes, stirring often, until sausages are sticky and well coated.

Step 4/4
Fresh parsley.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot with your choice of sides.

Sweet & savoury delight: Gooseberry-Glazed Sausage Rolls ๐Ÿ˜‹

Prep time: 15 minutes, Cook time: 30 minutes

Ingredients for 6 servings:
1 sheet puff pastry (ready-rolled)
300 g pork sausage meat
1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 tsp chopped fresh thyme
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 egg, beaten
100 g gooseberry jam
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp Dijon mustard
Sesame seeds, for topping

Step 1/4
300 g pork sausage meat - 1 tbsp wholegrain mustard - 1 small onion, finely chopped - 1 tsp chopped fresh thyme - Salt and black pepper, to taste.
In a bowl, mix sausage meat with mustard, onion, thyme, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Step 2/4
1 sheet puff pastry - 1 egg, beaten - Sesame seeds.
Unroll puff pastry and cut in half lengthwise. Divide sausage mixture evenly down the center of each strip. Brush pastry edges with beaten egg, fold over, and seal. Brush tops with more egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Step 3/4
100 g gooseberry jam - 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar - 1 tsp Dijon mustard.
In a small pan over medium heat, combine jam, vinegar, and mustard. Simmer for 3โ€“4 minutes until slightly thickened. Set aside.

Step 4/4
Preheat oven to 200ยฐC. Cut sausage rolls into bite-sized pieces and place on a baking tray lined with parchment. Bake for 25โ€“30 minutes until golden. Brush with gooseberry glaze and serve warm.
