🕊️💔 “The Dust Lady” of 9/11 🇺🇸 The Story of Marcy Borders✨

On September 11, 2001, one powerful photo captured the world’s attention:
Marcy Borders, only 28 years old, covered in thick gray dust as she escaped the World Trade Center. That image gave her the name “The Dust Lady.”

She survived, but the pain of that day never left her. Marcy battled trauma, depression, and later cancer, which she believed came from the toxic dust.

On August 24, 2015, at just 42, Marcy passed away. 💔 She will always be remembered not only as “The Dust Lady,” but as a woman of courage, carrying both the resilience and the sorrow of 9/11 survivors.

🌹 Her story reminds us: every tragic image hides a real person with pain, strength, and hope.
