Some books give you a love story. Some leave you questioning whether love could ever be enough.
Grim took me somewhere much deeper than I expected. Their love felt consuming—beautiful, complicated, devastating, and impossible to separate from everything they were willing to sacrifice for each other.
And then I reached the end.
And read this:
“That isn’t strong enough a word.” I frown. “No, heart, I don’t love you. I live for you. I destroy for you. I die for you. My every thought and emotion revolve around you. You are my sun, my moon, my gravity, my eternity.”
I had to sit with that.
Because “I love you” suddenly feels so small.
This is devotion stripped down to its rawest form. A love that isn’t asking how much? It’s saying all of me. Every thought. Every breath. Every lifetime.
And after everything this story takes you through, finding those words at the very end?
Absolutely devastating.
