I often find myself thinking of the people who raised my husband — the ones who shaped his character with quiet strength and unwavering kindness. Linda and John instilled in him the deep-rooted ideals of goodness, values that stood firm even through life’s hardest storms. Their strength inspires me still. And when I reflect on them, I also think of my own family — the ones who nurtured me, guided me, and gave me my own foundation. Together, these families passed down something sacred: principles of compassion, courage, and care. I believe it’s important to reach back — to remember the people who made us who we are, the ones who kept us safe, loved us fiercely, and stood by us without asking for anything in return. They deserve our gratitude, our remembrance, and above all, our respect.
