Brown's Outdoors Were Known as "Team Brown" around here, follow us along as we hunt, shoot and explore the outdoors. Hi! Welcome. My name is Amber Brown.

I was Born and raised in Metamora, Michigan. I've had a passion for the outdoors since I was a little girl. Now we are chasing our dreams at 24 years old around the country with the support of my father. Thus "Team Brown" was born. Thank you for supporting my journey.

The goals have been set, the practice season has started and the traveling begins this Wednesday. Now it’s time to execute.
Team Brown is setting their sights high this year with some big goals with our first stop on what’s called the “NSCA championship tour” being Western Regional located in Phoenix Arizona at none other than Ben Avery at the Pinnacle Shooting Sports. This is the 1st one of the season. I’ll go into more detail soon but know there’s 5 regionals, a us open, nationals and two world events this year we are going to. They are all qualifiers for Team USA except one (I believe, let me double check)! Follow us along, as I begin this journey with my dad this year, gather footage and bring you inside what it all looks like all week from our trip as we begin our 2024 journey trying to make Team USA.

Had a good morning out in the blind with my father (Team Brown) 🙏

One of our last ducks hunt of the year (or the last one). Our season here in Michigan ends this weekend for us, other than a two day opening end of December.

A cold 🥶 morning here in SE MI!! We saw over 200 ducks but our pond we hunted was almost completely frozen. Before daybreak we went out and broke up ends of pond in hope some would land. We ended up getting 7 and 2 BEAUTIFUL black ducks.

I’m grateful for moments like these together.

Welcome our main Content Creator, Amber Brown.

I am 24 and I have grown up hunting with my family! I hunt everything from deer, pheasants, ducks, geese and especially LOVE trapping with my father. I love the outdoors and have had horses my entire life. I work for family business along side my father in his construction company. I grew up in Metamora on my parents farm and currently live in Lapeer, Mi in my home. I have a 2 1/2 year old German shepherd and a horse that is 17 years old now! I used to horse show growing up but have been growing out of it and more into shooting sports now. I have made the All Americans teams a couple years in a row (the top 30 are recognized for each concurrent across USA) and this year will be my first year making the 1st team ( top 10 in US for ladies) for sporting clays! I’m excited to take you guys on all my crazy adventures across the United States from hunting trips, mushroom hunting at our cabin in northern Michigan and in the summer highlighting the sporting clays association and that crazy journey I’m the sport!

One of our target bucks have moved back in!
We watched him all summer and fall, he’s been off breeding does. The rut is slowing down here in SE MI where we hunt and is becoming selective.

Hoping this snow get them moving this afternoon.

Welcome, fellow Team member Mark Brown (also known as my father and the other half of what we call team brown) to the page!!!

This wasn't the way I planned on introducing my father but it felt like a perfect place to start. What an eventful evening today! I didn't even bring my camera or charge my phone so I had neither for tonight......Tonight, after being sick for 3 days and taking me out of the season for 6 hunts, I went out with my dad after he got back from hunting in northern Michigan at our cabin.

He dropped me off at my blind, and he and I both sat in brand new spots on our 120 acres piece in blinds we had never hunted. it wasn't long after 3:30pm that I heard a shot to my southeast. I called him, we were both so excited (mostly me) and I hunted until 4:30pm and got down.
I went and picked him up and there he laid about 30 yards from the blind. A perfect kill shot straight to the heart/lungs.

This is a perfectly mature buck, id age him about 3 1/2-4 years old. we could've let him go another year but was too hard to pass him up. A perfect 10 point. He is number #3 on our list of shooter bucks. We have watched him grow up and are proud to harvest him off the farm.

This is the first of many more this season! Stay tuned for actual footage of my season so far. I apologize in advance as I was extremely sick for 3 days and barely made it out of bed after my initial hunt opening day so my progression on this page is a little behind. Please be patient with me. Thank you.
