We welcome two creative artists and extend our artist roster. Amelia Mae, a Melbourne-based artist known for her tribal techno/house sets and soulful melodies, has been a prominent figure in the electronic music scene since she began DJing in 2000. Classically trained in flute, guitar, and bass, Amelia quickly gained recognition for her refined DJ sets, performing at major events and supporting artists like Christian Smith, Wehbba, and Adana Twins. In 2011, she won the Australian Pioneer Pro DJ Search under her former alias, Sorceress. Now focusing on production, Amelia has released tracks on labels such as G-Mafia Brazil and Brise Records Germany, with her music featured on Pure Ibiza Radio. Her style blends intricate rhythms and uplifting melodies, and she continues to captivate audiences with her dynamic performances and new releases, including her upcoming release on Solardish Records together with her production partner.
Marta Kodo, the alias of David Coates, derives from an Aboriginal term meaning „Big Melody,“ a fitting description for his music characterized by expansive synth sounds and rich chord progressions. David has developed a signature style blending warm melodic undertones with addictive percussive rhythms. His work has garnered attention in the global dance scene, with releases on notable labels like Baroque and appearances on compilations alongside artists like Oliver Lieb and Robert Babicz. Marta Kodos tracks have received airplay on Pure Ibiza Radio, including a live guest closing set in 2018. His discography includes deep house releases such as „High Lighter,“ „Let It Flow,“ and collaborations with Amelia Mae like „More Chi“ and „Yoorana.“ With upcoming EPs set for 2024, Marta Kodo continues to make a significant impact on the electronic music landscape. With a growing discography and a unique sound that stands out in the global dance scene, both artists continue to push the boundaries of electronic music.
