The Apache 47, hull #001, constructed in 1986–87, marked the debut of Apache Powerboats' 47-foot deep-V race hull. Co-founded by Bobby Saccenti and Ben Kramer, it was crafted from a Don Aronow mold and clinched the 1984 APBA World Championships in treacherous conditions, surpassing 100 mph.
