One piece of advice from a complete stranger stuck with me throughout the YEARS…

Back when I was flying corporate jets, I flew a passenger from California to Fort Myers who casually mentioned he was headed there to close on his 21st property.

So I asked him, “What’s one piece of advice you’d give a young guy like me?”

His answer was simple:

“FINISH THE RACE.”

No matter how tired you get, don’t quit. Distractions will always be there, and things won’t always go as planned. Stay focused and KEEP GOING.

Looking at this old picture of me flying 172s reminds me just how far determination can take you.
