✨Plague Season has been officially selected for the Palm Springs ShortFest 2025 , one of the most important short film festivals in the world✨

Our U.S. premiere will take place on Thursday, June 26 at 6:00 PM, as part of the A World Imagined program.

Set in a world falling apart, the film follows a girl who cares for her mother in silence and isolation, while something strange brews outside.

Desde su infancia hasta su caótica llegada a la cima del éxito, plagada de excesos y tristezas, la cinta se detiene cuidadosamente en registrar todos los eventos que configuraron la intimidad del artista. Basada en el libro ¿Quién mató al Joe?, del periodista Mauricio Silva, la cinta realiza una remembranza del genio musical que compuso uno de los himnos más icónicos de la negritud latinoamericana.
