Jeff hopping on to give everyone a quick update from the car.

There was no episode this week, it has been a genuinely crazy week for both Jeff and Anthony, and Jeff wanted to personally apologize for the gap. Life happens sometimes, even to the guys who talk about it for a living.

One more schedule note, Episode 37 will not be live this coming Monday either since Jeff will be in Buffalo. Instead, we are moving it to Tuesday, September 22nd at 8PM EST.

Episode 36 is all about back to school, and there is a lot to catch up on.

It was Pawling's first day back to school, and for Anthony that means senior year has officially started, his very last first day. Expect Jeff to give him a hard time about it, and expect Anthony to be somewhere between excited and terrified.

Jeff also has huge news to share. He just attended the red carpet premiere for Meeting Marsha, the movie his daughter starred in, and he is coming in with all the details from the night.

4am at LAX and Jeff is the only one who seems to be awake.

The place is eerily quiet, empty terminals, no lines, just Jeff and his thoughts before an early flight home. He is heading back tonight, which means the crew is officially back together for Episode 36.

Jeff just discovered the greatest hotel bathroom innovation of all time.

There is a hole in the shower glass wall that lets you turn the water on and get it to temperature before you even step in, so you never have to deal with that first blast of cold water again. Jeff is treating this like he just witnessed a full blown engineering marvel, and honestly, he might be right.

Small joys hit different when Jeff is the one discovering them.

Jeff said stay calm and then immediately did the opposite.

Rule number one of his 7 rules to a happy life was stay calm. Rule number one lasted about 10 seconds before Jeff completely lost it. The irony is too good, this is the most Jeff thing that has ever happened.

Send this to someone who says they are calm and never is.

Jeff's coaching methods hit a whole new level of chaos in this one.

As the Pawling JV football coach, Jeff's go to punishment for misbehaving players is sending them to stand in the porta potty. Naturally, instead of being scared straight, the kids decided this was the best thing that could happen to them. Now they are fighting to get sent in there, and Jeff somehow ended up with 9 guys crammed into one porta potty at the same time.

Coaching disasters do not get more real than this. Jeff cannot make this stuff up, and honestly, neither could we.

Jeff's superfan called in with a funny clip to bring back, and it did not disappoint.

Jeff was in the middle of laying out his 7 rules to a happy life, and rule one was stay calm. The irony hit immediately when Jeff lost it on his son and his dogs mid sentence while trying to explain it. His superfan could not stop laughing, and honestly, neither can we.

Jeff dropped his daughter off at the airport and is already done with traffic before 9am.

Every red light, every brake light, every inch of this commute, Jeff felt it all this morning and he is not holding back. He gives major respect to everyone who does the New Jersey to Manhattan grind every single day, because after one morning of it, he is exhausted just watching.

Real talk from the car, because that is where the best rants happen.
