Think Global, Act Local
Just a few years ago I made history in the city of Miami Gardens, and now that legacy continues in my new season of expansion!
This expansion has led to a global platform to inspire and connect women economically in places such as the Bahamas, Africa, America, and Canada.
On June 22nd, 2025 I led a delegation of 15 businesswomen including Miami Gardens residents on a successful mission to Ghana, West Africa. This is the first global mission of the 100 Plus Women of Virtue to Ghana and the first trip to the continent for many.
While there, we partnered with Women in Tourism Ghana for a successful launch of the 100 Plus Women of Virtue, including discussions on cultural tourism, distributed humanitarian items, met with a former President, His Excellency John Kufuor and other high level officials, visited the largest coco plant in Accra and toured the port of Accra.
As part of our humanitarian mission we met with rural women and visited the door of no return as well as many cultural sites. “Truly a life changing trip remarked Dr. Gerda Williams”
This is just the beginning of a new season of expansion and the best is yet to come.
