There’s something really special about watching your kids get excited about giving back to their school. 💛

Leia and Olivier are participating in their school’s Double Good Popcorn Fundraiser, and they would LOVE your support! 🍿

This isn’t just about selling popcorn. Every purchase helps support the school community that pours so much love, faith, education, and encouragement into our children every single day.

As their mom, I’m incredibly grateful for the teachers, staff, families, and community that help make their school feel like a second home—and now Leia and Olivier get a chance to do their little part to give back. 🥹❤️

So, if you’ve been looking for an excuse to eat an unreasonable amount of popcorn for the children… this is your moment. 😂🍿

Every order, share, and bit of support means more than you know.

Thank you for supporting Leia, Olivier, and their school! 💛🙏🏽

Now… who needs popcorn?! 👀🍿

Apparently all you have to do is put me in a bookstore, surround me with book people, and I’m suddenly living my best life. 😂📚

Such a fun night celebrating H.M. Wolfe and Daggermouth and an even BIGGER celebration for officially becoming a NYT BESTSELLER!! 🥳📖

Huge thank you to Steamy Lit Bookstore for creating such a beautiful space for readers to gather, obsess over books, and find yet another reason to add something to the TBR. 😂

Ashley Lauren | & she tabs you were an AMAZING moderator although I’m still slightly distracted by you casually showing up channeling Zendaya. Ma’am. 🔥😂

And H. M. Wolfe congratulations!! Thank you for the laughs, the writing nuggets, the tiny bits of tea about what’s coming next 👀, and for being such a joy to meet.

There really is something special about getting off the internet and into a room full of people who love books just as much as you do. 🥹❤️

10/10 bookish night.

Would absolutely leave my house again. 😂📚

And THAT is saying something.

🚨 Unpopular Opinion Alert 🚨

I know The Song of Achilles is a beloved favorite for so many readers, and I completely understand why.

Madeline Miller’s writing is stunning, Patroclus deserves the world, and the ending absolutely landed.

But… I never connected with the story the way I hoped I would. It just moved too slowly for me.

⭐⭐⭐

That’s the beauty of reading—we all bring different experiences and tastes to every book. If we all loved the exact same stories, this community would be pretty boring.

Now tell me…

What’s one wildly popular book that everyone else loved but just wasn’t for you?

(Be brave. I’ll be in the comments with you. 😂)

July was one of those months that somehow felt both incredibly busy and wonderfully slow.

Here’s what July looked like:

Launched Little Book Friends (still pinching myself).
Made memories in Orlando with my brother, our families, and way too many laughs.
Celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday.
Wandered through Wynwood Walls with my favorite people.
Escaped to Sarasota with family and friends.
Spent just about every chance I got at the beach.
Read 18 books because apparently I don’t know how to relax any other way.

Some months are measured by milestones.
Others are measured by moments.

July somehow gave me both.

Thank you for supporting this little corner of the internet, cheering on Little Book Friends, and making this community feel like home. Here’s to whatever chaos August has planned.

What was the highlight of your July?

07/31/2026

July was… concerning. 😂📚

I read 18 books, questioned the mental stability of several authors, raised my friendship standards, decided cardio is not for me, and somehow walked away with a few new favorites.

As always, these are just my opinions. If your favorite book gets roasted… I still love you. (Probably.)

Now it’s your turn…

You disappeared for one week because your business needs all versions of you.

See you Saturday, August 1st.

10 new bookmarks are almost here.

…and yes… HR approved all of this. 🤣

POV: You post a video about a book you genuinely love…

…and a few weeks later, Oprah’s team emails asking if they can feature it on the podcast.

I still can’t believe I’m typing that.

Thank you to the entire team for letting me be a tiny part of this beautiful conversation about Theo of Golden by Allen Levi

If you’d like to watch the full episode, head over to The Oprah Podcast ❤️

Proof that sometimes talking about books with strangers on the internet leads to the most unexpected moments.
