The four champions of the Triwizard Tournament each had to face a different dragon, and each used a different strategy to obtain the golden egg.
Fleur Delacour faced a Common Welsh Green and used a sleeping spell to put it to sleep, although the dragon woke up before she could complete the task perfectly.
Viktor Krum faced a Chinese Fireball and chose a much more aggressive strategy. He used a spell to affect one of the dragon’s eyes, partially blinding it. The animal became furious and began causing destruction, but Krum managed to get close to the golden egg and complete the task.
Cedric Diggory had to face a Swedish Short-Snout and used Transfiguration to create a slippery surface in front of the dragon. When the creature slipped and fell, Cedric took advantage of the moment to approach and take the golden egg. His strategy was precise and demonstrated great mastery of magic.
Harry faced the most dangerous challenge: a Hungarian Horntail. Instead of trying to defeat it, he used Accio to summon his broom and began flying around the dragon until he found the right moment to take the prize. In this way, each champion demonstrated a different skill: Fleur used charms, Krum used strength and precision, Cedric used Transfiguration, and Harry used his flying ability and his ability to react under pressure.
