He was a heavyweight and tall selling a variety of oddments from his flea market open air display. I approached him with the words, "We're from the church down the street and we are just visiting the neighbors to see how they are doing. Isn't that what the church is supposed to do?" He nodded his head in agreement.

I then continued into our Gospel script and between serving his customers he agreed that what I had shared with him made sense and he would like to receive the gift of eternal life for which Jesus had paid the full price.

I prayed thanking the Lord for opening his heart and then led him in a prayer which he repeated at my request.

That was yesterday, but today I received a call from the pastor who had accompanied me, telling me that when he telephoned the man yesterday, the day following him accepting Christ as his savior, he told him that our speaking with him had been an answer to his prayer. He explained that he had prayed for help as things in his life were not going right. He said our visit to him was an answer to prayer. He was so grateful and promised to visit the church when in town.

Both of us experienced great joy at the result of our overcoming our fears and sharing the Gospel..

Jesus commanded us as His disciples, "Go out and proclaim the Good News." He also comforted us by assuring us that "I will never leave you nor forsake you..."

Challenge! Are you, as a follower of Jesus, proclaiming the Good News? If so you should be experiencing great joy as you see lives transformed. If not when are you going to become obedient and experience your life filled with joy?

She was most attentive and highly efficient as she explained the reason for the spectacles she was recommending for me to buy. She was almost intimidating in her efficiency and knowledge. Crisp and sharp and to the point. It was obvious that she was on a mission and that was to sell me the right glasses as expeditiously as possible without appearing to be rushing me. As I signed the credit card debit I thanked her and said that I would be remiss if I did not share some important news with her. I asked if she had heard of the Malaysian airliner that had disappeared with around 350 passengers. She said "Yes." I responded that I had found in talking with people that very few had the peace and confidence of knowing that had they died in such a tragedy that they would now be in heaven. Had she thought about heaven recently? Her response was "Oh I believe in heaven."
I explained how there were only two ways to get into heaven and I then presented the Gospel to her. She, like 98% of all the people I talk with, decided that what I told her made sense and she would like to receive the wonderful gift of Eternal Life for which Jesus had paid the total price. After she prayed with me, the blurted out, "Oh thank you I feel like crying!"
You see even the most efficient and professional people need to hear the Gospel and given the opportunity to receive the wonderful gift of Eternal Life.
How are you doing in terms of winning souls? Are you truly following the Savior who promised that He would make us to become "Fishers of men?"

Our host broke her ankle, whilst recovering friend gave her New Testament which she read. Some months later whilst hitchhiking through Europe the driver pulled off the highway and began fondling her. She cried out, "God if you save me now, I will serve you forever." Immediately the man froze, she stepped out of the car and walked three miles to the railway station where she completed her journey to the South of France. On her return to Canada, splashed across the newspaper were photos of kids who when visiting Europe were now missing. Since that frightening day she has led dozens including my precious wife to our Savior. Anyone need an nudge to get activate in soul winning?

The taxi driver was sullen. I attempted conversation. All I could extract was that he was from Somalia, came to USA when sixteen. That was it! Silence for the journey from the MS Westerdam to the Seattle bus station. As he was unloading our baggage I thanked him for driving so fast and asked him if he had heard of the terrible earthquake in Haiti two years ago when 316,000 people had died. He told me "Yes". and when he heard the Gospel made a decision to invite Jesus to save him. I gripped his hand and as he repeated the prayer inviting Jesus into his heart, his grip softened as if the peace of the Lord had descended upon him. His countenance had changed and he thanks me. Praise the Lord, another Muslim saved, and Jesus rejoiced! (Luke 10:21-24)

The door we knocked opened cautiously a crack. "We are from the church down the street and wish to welcome you to our neighborhood" Our eyes met a young thirty-ish lady. She responded "I am very active in my church and would like to invite you to pray with us outside the abortion mill not far from here." Her sister joined us and after further talk and a prayer, unknown to me my team member needed a job and our new friend told her of job openings for which she had the qualifications! Also my team member shared that she worked in a ministry for special needs adults and our new friend happened to have a close friend who had an adult with Downs.It was an amazingly fruitful visit and because of our mission to reach the lost, all were blessed. Today I preached to two in Wisconsin and one got saved even though she told me she was a regular church attendee. The other told me that Jesus is the only way, so I directed him to our web site so he could get active in soul winning. Let's pray, preach and provoke!. Just a thought.

Walked into Muffler business and began sharing the Gospel and the prospect pointed to a plaque telling me that Jesus saved him. He is a a pastor and invited me to meet with him to train his six churches in soul winning! Amazing divine appointment.
