The HEART Program (Broward County) supports students experiencing homelessness in completing their education and hosted a graduation ceremony in mid-2025. Despite facing severe social challenges, many students graduated as high achievers, including valedictorians, and earned scholarships to top universities.

To support their journeys, Zakat Foundation of America donated dozens of laptops and was honored to have South Florida partners join, including Mr. Khalid Mirza (UHI Clinic & COSMOS) and Mr. Kamran Razzaq (Board Member, Islamic Center of Greater Miami).
