Told my dead mama who saved everything and always encouraged me to do the same, "I know you bought this rag at Woolworths in 1983, but I'm throwing it away. It can't even be used to dust at this point. I'm throwing it away. And there's nothing you can do about it." And a few minutes later I got it out of the garbage can thinking surely I can find some use for this thread because my mother knows how to guilt trip me from the grave.

Hi, need some advice and guidance, FTM who is EBF, my baby is 3 months old and has been experiencing eczema behind her knees for a few weeks now and on the inside of her elbows. She had a few dry bumpy spots around 6-8 weeks which heeled up and haven’t returned by us using aveeno eczema therapy lotion. We have been moisturizing with that daily and putting aquaphor to follow, but have not noticed any difference yet. We switched to Vaseline to try today and are hoping to see results. I am noticing that it is going up her leg into the folds on her thigh now, What can I do to help my baby before it gets worse? Thanks in advance

Hi, my best friend got bit by a dog yesterday protecting her daughter. This is what the bite looks like and she wants to go in to obviously get it checked out and cleaned properly. She’s nervous about a tetanus 🧁. Not trying to ask for direct medical advice obviously but just kind of trying to gauge on what she should/could do! Thank you!!!

This is your sign to have a wine and steak night for dinner if you want to increase your milk supply overnight! I’m a slight overproducer, only making 3-4oz per pump, but my 2 1/2 month old baby has been sleeping through the night, so I’ve been able to freeze my night pumps. I recently got a cold/ was really stressed and my pumps dropped to 1-2oz. A huge steak (protein) and a glass of wine (to relax) gave me this pump in the middle of the night. I don’t pump and dump, I just waited 3 hours after my glass of wine, or until I no longer feel the alcohol in my system. Hope it helps 🙂
note: this is the 4th time I do this to increase my milk supply and it works everytime!! I also latch my baby as much as I can when I see a supply drop!

I got a call from the police at work saying my car was involved in an incident. I rushed to the scene to find my 15-year-old son standing next to my flipped Subaru, completely unharmed. I started screaming, but he held up his hand and told me to calm down. He said, 'Mom, I didn't steal it. I borrowed it to perform a structural chassis audit. I heard a rattle last week, and the only way to properly inspect the exhaust heat shield without a lift is to gently rotate the vehicle 90 degrees. This is standard procedure in rally racing.' STANDARD PROCEDURE?? 🏎. The car is totaled! The driver's door is ground down to the frame and the airbags are blown! He honestly expects me to thank him for saving me mechanic fees and is asking if he can have the insurance check to buy a WRX. Do I thank him for the 'inspection' or press charges?
