Baby, you survived days you thought you wouldn’t make it through. You cried, prayed, got back up and kept going—even when nobody knew what you were dealing with behind closed doors.

So today, give YOURSELF some credit. ❤️

You may not be where you want to be yet, but thank God you’re not where you used to be either! 🙌🏾

Grandma Said NO! 👀🔥

Okay, Mamas and Grandmas…I NEED y’all on this one! 😂

Your grown daughter calls and says:

“Mama, can you keep the kids this weekend?”

You tell her NO because you already have plans.

She gets upset and says:

“But you’re their GRANDMA! You act like you never want to help me with your own grandchildren.” 😳

Grandma responds:

“I raised MY children. I love my grandchildren, but I’m allowed to have a life too!”

WHEW! 👀🔥

So who’s right?

Should grandparents be EXPECTED to babysit because that’s what family does, or should watching the grandchildren ALWAYS be their choice?

And Grandmas…have you ever had to remind your grown kids that Grandma has a LIFE too? 😂👇🏾

Good morning, beautiful people! ☀️

The older I get, the more I understand that every blessing doesn’t come wrapped in money.

Peace is a blessing.
Sleeping good at night is a blessing.
Having food in the refrigerator is a blessing.
Being able to laugh is a blessing.
And having somebody who genuinely checks on YOU is definitely a blessing. ❤️

Sometimes we’re so busy asking God for the next thing that we forget to thank Him for what He’s already done. 🙏🏾

— Telephone Memories ☎️😂

My 40+ crowd is going to remember THIS! 😂

Remember when the house had ONE telephone and everybody knew everybody’s business?!

You’d finally get on the phone with somebody you liked…

Then Mama would yell:

“GET OFF THAT PHONE! I’M EXPECTING A CALL!” 😭😂

And if somebody picked up another extension and started listening…

“MAMA! TELL THEM TO HANG UP THE PHONE!” 🤣🤣

No texting. No private cell phones. No hiding conversations.

And somehow we SURVIVED! 😂❤️

Who remembers having a long phone cord so you could stretch that phone into another room for a little privacy? ☎️👇🏾

Mama, Stay Out of It? 👀

Mamas of grown children, come to the front! 😂🔥

Your grown daughter calls you crying after a HUGE argument with her husband.

She tells you EVERYTHING he said and did, and naturally Mama is MAD! 😡

Two days later, they’ve made up, they’re loving on each other again…and now YOU’RE still looking at that man sideways because you know all their business. 😂

So here’s the question:

Should grown children STOP telling their parents every detail about problems in their marriage?

Or should Mama be able to listen, give advice and then stay out of it once they make up? 👀

Married folks AND parents—I want to hear from both sides! 🔥👇🏾

Back-to-School Memories ✏️😂

My 40+ crowd, do y’all remember when going back to school meant getting a few new outfits, some fresh shoes, pencils, notebook paper and maybe a Trapper Keeper if Mama was feeling generous? 😂😂

And baby, you were NOT getting a whole new wardrobe!

Mama would say:

“Ain’t nothing wrong with those clothes from last year!” 😭🤣

We covered textbooks with brown grocery bags, wrote our names on EVERYTHING, and if you lost your supplies too quickly…you already knew you were in trouble! 😂

I told Glenn on yesterday that I wasn’t cooking today. How did I end up making him some more Crab cakes but this time like Salmon Croquettes with some grits..

So since it was some grits left over, I took out some Chicken breast, seasoned them down and fried them. Then I made me some homemade gravy with some onions and bell peppers. When I say it smells so good and he isn’t getting NONEEEEEEEEE…

He should be nice a full already! 🙄

After several years, she has $15,000 saved.

Her husband finds out and gets upset because he feels like married people shouldn’t hide money from each other.
