A good paralegal should always keep a document that shows each and every date of service, a summary of the hospital/doctor visit and the billing information. There are a lot of moving parts in a personal injury case. Is the client getting adequate treatment? Is it okay for the client to talk to the insurance company? What about a recorded statement? Where is the case at? How long until the case is settled? All of these questions are valid and the client has every right to ask them. A good paralegal knows how the attorney would answer those questions so the attorney can focus on their case load and get things done.
