Today rain has stopped play outside and boy that temperature has dropped I was tempted to light the fire this afternoon but I saw sense quickly it’s April not December I told myself. The weather forecast isn’t great this week and for the first time in 6 weeks since we went into isolation I was actually lost as to know what to do. But I have made a list of jobs so hopefully tomorrow I won’t feel out of sorts again. Yesterday my son received his letter from the hospital to say from the day he received his letter he now has to fully self shield and isolate for 12 weeks from the day he received the letter. ( it was dated 24th April ) How he’s supposed to do that with one bathroom in the cottage we’re not sure. But we have been taking every sensible precaution we can for the last 6 weeks. But another 12 weeks is now ahead of us which takes us up until the end of July. Thank goodness for our garden and open countryside because as much as I love my husband I think we all need a bit of space from time to time. This week I will be painting , baking , sorting boxes of photos into albums and sat on my bright vintage orange sofa doing my embroidery which I haven’t picked up in weeks and catching up with you all. I hope your all keeping well and still smiling through this crazy time. I forgot to mention the beautiful flowers are a gift from my elderly neighbour for cooking him a roast dinner on a Sunday , supplying him with cake and eggs and doing a spot of gardening. I was so touched and told him he shouldn’t have it’s what good neighbours do but he said it made him feel better and was a thank you for looking after him . Hugs to you all x
