Interview with Ibis Luis 🎙️ Cigar Snob Podcast E164 🎙️ When Ibis Luis took a part-time job at a cigar shop in Little Havana, she was just looking to make a little extra cash between clinical shifts at Jackson Memorial Hospital. She had her sights set on the medical field — second degree, boards passed, license in hand.

But fate had other plans… and it had the aroma of to***co.

In this episode, Ibis shares how a “six-month retail gig” turned into a full-blown passion for ci**rs — one that changed her career and her life. From falling for the aroma as a kid to building an online cigar community, her story is one of those beautiful left turns this industry is full of.

“There’s so much history behind ci**rs that people have no idea.”

Light one up and listen to how it all started.

While on the road for an event, Justo Eiroa once drove two hours just to see a collection of what? And what was his favorite brand of this collectible?

We wrapped up an incredible month with Aladino Ci**rs in style—this week’s prize was a 100-count Klaro humidor valued at $250. Not bad for tuning into some cigar talk and trivia, right?

But the fun’s not over.

Next week kicks off a brand-new month-long celebration with Villiger, and the swag is just getting started. Tune in next Friday at 3 PM ET for your next chance to Win, Stuff, Live!

Perfect Pairings: Plasencia Alma de Fuego & Islay Single Malt Scotch - Cigar Snob Podcast E164 🎙️ It’s peat vs. palate in this episode’s Perfect Pairing. The crew lines up a trio of heavy hitters from Islay: Lagavulin 16, Laphroaig, and Port Charlotte. These smoky single malts bring the funk, the fire, and the dirty underwear (yep, someone said it) — but which one actually elevates your cigar?

They break down how peat interacts with to***co, what to expect on the nose (besides, well... moss), and why this might not be your go-to if you're smoking something subtle.

Find out which one won them over and which one got politely corrected.

Is it rude to ask for a replacement cigar? 🎙️ Cigar Snob Podcast E164

“Hey Folks! Thank you so much for all of the fantastic content and great vibes. I'm always thrilled when I see you've posted a new video, and one of these days I'm going to Win Stuff Live.

My question is about cigar lounge etiquette.

Say you go to a cigar lounge, pay $15 for a cigar, and it's a dud. Say you have to re-light a half a dozen times because it keeps going out less than a minute after a puff, and you have to correct the burn another half a dozen times because it keeps wildly canoeing. What if it's plugged and no amount of routing it out will help? Totally random examples here
Would it be expected, acceptable, or uncouth to request a free replacement?

Does it make a difference if it seems to be the fault of the proprietor, such as poor storage, rather than a factory issue?
Thank you!

Jon from St. Charles, Missouri”
