ANACONDA — Jungle River Boat Encounter

TOP — Behind the Scenes:

Inside a gigantic Hollywood soundstage, creature technicians operate an original giant anaconda using a highly detailed animatronic head and articulated body.

A practical expedition boat sits inside a controlled water tank surrounded by artificial jungle rocks and vegetation.

The entire stage is covered with enormous green-screen and blue-screen walls and flooring, filled with VFX tracking markers. Creature puppeteers, water technicians, stunt performers, underwater cameras, rain rigs, wind machines, LED lighting and VFX monitors surround the production.

BOTTOM — Final Movie Scene:

Keep the exact same snake posture, boat position, head angle, camera angle and framing, but transform the studio into a massive rainforest river during a tropical storm.

The enormous anaconda rises beside the expedition boat, its wet body partially submerged.

Rescue workers carefully guide passengers toward the opposite side of the boat.

Heavy rain strikes the water while enormous jungle trees bend in the wind.

A distant waterfall disappears into thick atmospheric mist.
