The Truth About Medicaid Cuts:

The proposed Medicaid changes aren’t just numbers on a spreadsheet—they’re a looming administrative disaster. Florida’s own records show the state knew its Medicaid system was broken. The DCF portal is riddled with defects, delays, and errors that already keep eligible seniors and families from getting care.

Now imagine adding even more red tape.

Congress should be fighting to fix what’s broken—not bury states like Florida under new rules they can’t possibly manage. These changes would force even more vulnerable Floridians—especially seniors in South Florida—off the rolls, not because they’re ineligible, but because the system can’t keep up.

This isn’t about politics. It’s about capacity, common sense, and protecting the people we promised to care for.

Florida’s most vulnerable are on the chopping block—again.

Congress is pushing a bill that guts Medicaid—and Florida is ground zero (again).

One in five Floridians relies on Medicaid. Seniors. Kids with disabilities. Working families.

It’s bad enough that Florida has refused to expand it. Now, Congress wants to slash it?

Hospitals will close. Families will suffer. And lives will be lost.

All while the same politicians cash in on taxpayer-funded health care.

The math doesn’t math for us - ever.

Find your member of Congress and tell them: We’re watching. Do your job. Protect Medicaid.

DCF & Deloitte you should be ashamed. You owe Florida an apology and a fix.

Records show dozens of Floridians emailed the head of Florida’s Department of Children and Families directly to voice complaints.
