I can say I want to make $100K a month because I am not trying to force that goal onto a business idea that never deserved to survive.

That is the part people skip.

They pick the idea, build around it, spend money on it, lose months on it… and THEN ask if it can actually make money.

Asssssss backwards! 😭

Maybe your goal is $5K/month. Maybe $10K. Maybe $100K.

The number can change, the business still has to deserve the goal.

There are a lot of unspoken rules about what somebody charging five figures is supposed to look like.

Polished.
Corporate.
Over-credentialed.
Saying words nobody uses in real life.
Dressed like they’re headed to a board meeting at all times. 😂

Oh and a white man.

I tried none of that.

What I did do was get very, very good at solving expensive problems.

And somewhere along the way, I realized the right clients are not paying me because I mastered the “look”.

They’re paying me because they trust me to make the decisions they do not want to spend the next year figuring out themselves. 💻✨

Results gave me permission to stop performing expertise.

So yes, I might show up in gym clothes.

The invoice is still the invoice. 😘
