This recruitment is not for today, but I see it clearly in the coming 12 months.

As much as I look forward to building my team, right now I’m embracing the work myself.

✅ Aligning my social media with my personality and values

✅ Learning (sometimes the hard way 😅) how to automate onboarding and business systems

It’s not always fun, but I see this season as more than “just doing it all.” I’m positioning my business to scale. Every process I document now means my future assistant, tech administrator, and social media manager will be able to step in with clarity.

To my fellow self-published entrepreneurs: this is the same mindset shift I encourage with your books. Sales often feel heavy until you build systems and align your marketing with your unique voice. It’s not about hustling harder — it’s about laying the foundation for growth.

Life Trajectory Tasks: The Real Reason I Use Time Blocking

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned as an entrepreneur is that not all tasks are equal.

✅ To-do’s and must-do’s keep life moving.

✨ But life trajectory tasks? Those are the ones that move your life forward.

That’s why I’ve become assertive about protecting my calendar. Time blocking isn’t just about productivity—it’s how I make sure my weekly actions connect to my bigger vision.

Here’s my weekly planning rhythm:
Reflect – What worked, what challenged me, and what I learned.

Review – Check alignment between weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals.

List – Get everything out of my head to avoid decision fatigue.

Prioritize – Identify what to delegate, what brings immediate or future benefit, and what stretches me.

Block – Schedule my top 3 business goals for the week during my highest-energy times.

This simple strategy keeps me realistic, energized, and on track toward long-term growth.

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about building my team.

As a solopreneur, there have been plenty of moments where I felt stuck — staring at the screen, wondering how to solve yet another challenge (most recently, automating my onboarding system 🙃).

But here’s the shift: instead of spinning my wheels, I’m actually figuring problems out. Each solution may not be perfect, but the process itself has changed my momentum and my energy.

This is the part of entrepreneurship (and publishing) that doesn’t get talked about enough: you don’t need to have all the answers on day one. You just need the courage to face the problem, learn, and take the next step forward.

✨ To my fellow self-published entrepreneurs: the same applies to book sales. Feeling stuck doesn’t mean you’re failing. It means you’re at the edge of a breakthrough — and that’s where growth happens.
