WHAT ARE LUXURY BUYERS LOOKING FOR IN SOUTH FLORIDA RIGHT NOW?

According to Linda Skoog-Sluman of Corcoran, lifestyle and wellness are increasingly shaping where buyers look and what they expect from a home.

For walkability, dining and nightlife, she points to Delray Beach and its vibrant mix of restaurants, live music and entertainment. For areas to watch, College Park and Lake Worth stand out for their character-filled 1920s Spanish-style bungalows.

Inside the home, wellness is taking center stage, with buyers seeking dedicated spaces for cold plunges, massage, red light therapy and even personalized “he sheds” and “she sheds.”

Looking ahead, Skoog-Sluman is also watching West Palm Beach, where new businesses, high-end condominiums and developments like The Berkeley are contributing to the city’s continued transformation.
