Another view of Osaka Castle, this time from atop on of the exterior guard walls of the grounds. The castle seen today is of course rebuilt, and has been rebuilt a number of times since it originally broke ground in 1583AD. The castle has, in the past, fallen a number of times to various wars and and natural phenomena.

Yet another food item scratched off the foodie bucket list. This was a major one, Japanese A5 Wagyu beef. The description given to it by others of tasting like “meat butter” is about the closer way to describe how it melts in your mouth. The increíble marbling of the day throughout the cut does cause it to just melt when you bite it, no teeth required!

Decided to hit up 7/11 in Japan for a food haul dinner. Pork cutlet sandwich, spicy chicken, beef onigiri, pudding and a premise ice cream cone! The contrast in quality versus 7/11 in the US is amazing!
