Jakota Walker is celebrating an incredible milestone after graduating from Fort Valley State University as a summa cm laude scholar with a perfect 4.0 GPA 🎓✨

Three years ago, she earned national attention after being accepted into 40 universities and receiving over $500,000 in scholarships. Today, she’s closing this chapter with the highest honors, a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, and a minor in psychology 🤍

As a first-generation college graduate, Jakota says this journey was built on discipline, prayer, and purpose — and she’s grateful for every step that led her here 🙏🏾

The Atlanta Great Debaters won the Harvard debate championship for the third consecutive year, competing virtually against students globally.

11 Alive reports the entire team’s commendable performance, with Madison Webb and Christian Flournoy notably securing the victory as individuals.

Madison Webb is the first Black female student and Christian Flournoy is the youngest Black male student to win the competition.
