Is this hub damage fixable?

Damn, pretty sure I messed up removing the bearing race on my 2009 Ford Fiesta 1.2.
Got a cut into the hub about 15mm long, and it's about 1-1.5mm deep at the deepest point.
Still usable, or is this toast?

I understand the intention behind this sign—it’s clearly meant to encourage customers to support the servers. And to be clear, I’m happy to tip for good service because I know serving tables is hard work.

But if the first thing I see before walking into a restaurant is, "If you can't afford to tip, you can't afford to dine out," it immediately changes the atmosphere.

Instead of feeling welcomed, I feel like I'm being given a warning.

The truth is, most customers aren't against tipping. What many people struggle with is feeling responsible for covering a restaurant's payroll through guilt or social pressure rather than simply rewarding great service.

I know the tipping system has its challenges, and restaurant workers deserve fair compensation. But signs like this can unintentionally create tension before a guest has even ordered a meal or met their server.

First impressions matter. A friendly request for support feels very different from a message that tells customers they don't belong unless they're prepared to tip a certain way.

For me, that kind of sign would make me stop and think twice before going inside.

This sign at the coffee shop honestly made me stop and think before placing my order.

I believe people who work hard deserve fair pay, and I know many small businesses are facing higher operating costs. Most customers are happy to leave a tip when they receive good service and can comfortably afford it.

Still, seeing a sign asking for a "30% tip on all orders" before you've even ordered feels like a pretty big expectation.

It changes the feeling of tipping from something that's meant to show appreciation into something that almost feels required. With the cost of coffee, food, gas, groceries, and just about everything else continuing to rise, a lot of customers are feeling the financial pressure too.

I don't fault the employees for wanting to earn a decent living, but it does make me question why so much of their income depends on customers paying more after already spending more.

If you walked into a coffee shop and saw a sign like this, would it encourage you to support the staff, or would it make you reconsider ordering?

Supporting employees is important, but the way that message is delivered matters. A respectful reminder is one thing; a sign that makes guests feel uncomfortable can leave a lasting first impression.

First time hanging drywall, and I've run into a challenge.
How would you install the second 10-foot drywall sheet when there's a steel support post in the middle—without cutting the sheet? I'd really appreciate any advice or tips from those with experience.
