Photographed by Thierry Tek, Louis Vuitton (Louis Vuitton) and Singer (Singer Vehicle Design) have built two Porsche 911s on the 964 generation, one coupe and one cabriolet.

What began as a request for a dashboard clock turned into a rework of the instruments, interiors and exterior details of both cars.

The Classic coupe is finished in Louis Vuitton’s saffron, cobalt blue and yellow, with a custom roof rack and natural leather inside. Its gauges follow the look of the Tambour watch, and the plastic switches and vents are replaced with rhodium-plated metal.

The Classic Turbo cabriolet was designed with Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton’s artistic director of women’s collections. It is painted Calcaire Lutétien white, named after the Paris limestone, with leather, gold details and wood influenced by classic motorboats.

The coupe has a 4.0-litre engine and the cabriolet a 3.8-litre twin-turbo, and both are manual.
No price has been announced.

The Satori Yacht (Satori by Borgo Santo Pietro) was built by Claus and Jeanette Thottrup, the couple behind one of Tuscany’s most celebrated boutique hotels, Borgo Santo Pietro.

Each evening, the deck transforms into a full outdoor cinema, with popcorn, blankets, and a private screening under the stars.

Satori is a 41.5-metre (136ft) schooner launched in 2017, built in Bodrum, Turkey. The Thottrups were so committed to getting it right that they purchased the shipyard itself.

Her exterior is entirely handcrafted mahogany, and her interiors, designed personally by the couple, evoke 1920s sailing elegance in teak, walnut, and mahogany throughout.

One guest cabin was converted into a private spa with its own steam room, using treatments from Seed to Skin, the skincare line founded by Jeanette herself.

Meals are prepared by chefs from the Thottrups’ own Michelin-starred restaurants in Tuscany.

Satori sails the Mediterranean. Charters start at €100,000 per week for up to 10 guests.

Capella Lodge (Capella Lodge) sits at the southern end of Lord Howe Island, looking across the Tasman Sea towards Mount Gower and Mount Lidgbird.

Visitor numbers on the UNESCO-listed island are capped at 400 at any one time, helping protect its volcanic landscape, endemic wildlife and surrounding coral reef.

Opened by James and Hayley Baillie in 2003, Capella was their first luxury lodge. Its Australian beach-house design connects the interiors with the ocean, mountains and surrounding Kentia palms.

Daily menus feature island-grown produce and line-caught fish, while each stay includes breakfast, dinner, selected drinks, mountain bikes and airport transfers.

Bookings are open, starting at approximately €1,200/night.

Not A Hotel Setouchi has finally opened its long-anticipated three villas on a private island in Japan.

The villas are named 360, 270, and 180, based on how much sea view each one commands. Villa 360 sits at the island’s highest point in a ring shape with a fire pit courtyard. Villa 270 wraps around a pool shaped like the surrounding islands. Villa 180 follows the cliff edge with a Japanese garden courtyard.

Each villa is split between 12 fractional owners, who each get 30 nights a year and can trade them for stays across Not A Hotel’s other properties in Japan.

The villas are designed by BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group), led by architect Bjarke Ingels and partner Leon Rost, and are their first completed buildings in Japan.

Guests reach the island by private boat or helicopter, departing from a lounge on the Hiroshima mainland.

The villas are currently sold out, but owners can transfer their shares with approval after three years. That means a share could become available as early as 2027.

Lamborghini has handed the Italian State Police its new Temerario at its headquarters in Sant’Agata Bolognese, with the country’s Interior Minister in attendance.

It’s a plug-in hybrid: a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 and three electric motors, producing 907 horsepower.

Monastero Santa Rosa (Monastero Santa Rosa Hotel) sits on a cliff in Conca dei Marini, on Italy’s Amalfi Coast, in a convent built by Dominican nuns in 1681.

The convent later became a hotel, then sat empty for decades, until American traveller Bianca Sharma bought it and spent over a decade restoring it.

It reopened in 2012 with twenty rooms built into the old nuns’ cells, and an infinity pool set above the sea.

The restaurant, Il Refettorio (Il Refettorio Restaurant), holds a Michelin star under chef Alfonso Crescenzo.

This hotel is also the birthplace of the sfogliatella. To comfort an ailing Mother Superior, the nuns layered semolina, ricotta and candied citrus into a shell of pastry. The recipe reached Naples in the following century and never left.

This is Prairie Ark, a futuristic public gallery on the shores of Laoli Lake in the Ulanqab Grassland of Inner Mongolia, roughly 160 kilometres (100 miles) west of Beijing.

The silver, disc-shaped structure reads like a spacecraft that has settled into the steppe. One edge of its sloping roof disappears into the earth; the other lifts toward the sky.

Founder Ziyu Zhuang deliberately avoided familiar Mongolian symbols like yurts and nomadic imagery, aiming instead for what he calls a new architectural mythology rooted in solitude and escape from city life.

There’s no conventional entrance. Visitors climb directly from the grassland onto the terraced roof, then enter through a single cut in the structure that Zhuang describes as “a natural incision of the site.”

Nearby, the studio also built the Nomads’ Beacon Tower, echoing the beacon towers of the Great Wall. When the lake rises each summer, the only path to it floods, leaving it stranded like an island.

Novak Djokovic (Novak Djokovic) is bringing his wellness retreat series to Amanjena (Amanjena) in Marrakech this December.

“Stillness and Strength: A Novak Djokovic Retreat” runs December 18–20, and is Djokovic’s second in person retreat for Aman, following his debut program at Amanyara in the Turks and Caicos. He became Aman’s first-ever Global Ambassador and Wellness Advisor in 2024.

The three-day program blends tennis masterclasses led by Djokovic with meditation, breathwork, and restorative rituals guided by Amanjena’s wellness specialists, built around the mindset he credits for performing under pressure. He’s also personally curating the daily menus.

Guests receive a 60-minute Beldi Hammam and a 60-minute Therapeutic Argan Massage, plus full access to the resort’s wellness facilities. Amanjena itself sits just outside Marrakech, set among gardens and olive groves with the High Atlas Mountains on the horizon.

Spaces are strictly limited, with reservations by request directly through Aman.
