Hope everyone had a cool Art Basel / Miami Art Week, and we’re stoked to share some more fun for this week.

Tune in this Saturday from 3-4pm to Shaketheradio.com for this months Turntables in the Treehouse, as part of the Local Love Live on Shake Miami hosted by Pocket of Lollipops from Houndstooth Cottage

Tomorrow night (Wednesday the 10th) we will be playing at Gramps With Black Brigade, and Ana No Duerme. The evening begins at 8pm, and and it’s the last night of Gramps Pizza Tropical, so yeah one last chance to get your snack on.

This Saturday is the Holiday Makers Market at Locust Projects, where there will be 40+ vendors selling some goods which runs from 11am-5pm. Its also the Little River / Little Haiti art walk. And also a chance to experience Tara Longs exhibition.

And then on Sunday Pocket of Lollipops will be joining Michael Stocks Folk show on WLRN for a chat and a couple songs.

And sad to say, this Dec 8th marked the 45th anniversary of John Lennons passing so we will be starting the set off with some John & Yoko

Maitejosune Urrechaga is a multidisciplinary Miami-based artist, musician and educator. With a master's in art education from FIU, she has taught art for Miami-Dade County Public Schools for 25 years. Born and raised in Miami, her curatorial work emphasizes collaboration, storytelling, and community engagement, often blending sound, space, and personal narrative.

Screenings, live music, listening sessions and digital workshops, will activate the installation. These events will critically explore Bowie’s continued influence on contemporary art and culture, connecting his legacy of building bridges
