Great week in Cali interviewing our A-team for our next feature film production !

05/13/2013

Every spare second outside of work and family has been dedicated to a new project dear to my heart. I wish I can share it all b/c I am so proud and happy ...but it will come with time. Right now, because we have reached a new benchmark, we can share some. My production company, Beaumont Films, joined forces with my extremely talented good friend (actress and producer) Katia Gomez with Cherry Hill Films to produce a feature film - WHITE MARIPOSAS . A beautiful story created by both of us and written by a very talented and professional writer. We hope to bring to life this story soon, as we are in the "final stages" of development. Please visit us at www.whitemariposas.com for updates. And please like our page in Facebook / whitemariposas. We are looking forward to sharing this journey with many professionals in South Florida and beyond.

Helping cast a SAG short. Please send me your resume and headshots to [email protected] ASAP. Shoots Feb. 22-24th. Casting this Tuesday Feb. 5th in Doral. I already contacted a few of you directly. Breakdown:
1. John: late 20's - LEAD
*John is 6'2'', slim, white, a sleeve of tattoos and a scruffy look (would be preferable). A hipster without even trying; he likes to wear hats and leather jackets. His clothes are one size larger. He feels empty because he has never dared to fully live and has been settling all his life with what he needs and never what he really wants, including his relationship. Falls into a big depression that leads him to get lost in his art and world of ghosts. Need a good actor. Highly emotional scenes.
2. Supporting Actor, HENRY: Shoots 2 days
- Late 30's; Shorter than john (5'8"-5'10"), white or hispanic, no accent. He was a circus clown in the late 1930's. When he died he found pleasure from hunting people until a special event that changed his ways.
3. Supporting Actor, NANCY: Shoots 1 day
- Mid 20's, John's girlfriend. Tough. Caucasian or Hispanic. Little to no accent. Of mid height. Dark Hair. She doesn't believe John can see ghosts.Slight resemblance to Carmen. Not happy with her job writing for a fashion magazine, she doesn't trust or respect John as an artist. She thinks John acts like a teenager and treats him as such.
*She doesn't leave John because she is scared of being alone. She doesn't really like her friends and hates John's friends. A bit of a Drama Queen.
4. Secondary Character, Carmen: Shoots 2 days
- Late 20's to early 30's
- The ghost of a pr******te who is in love with John.
- Haunts and torments John. Any ethnicity (Caucasian or Hispanic). *Has a slight resemblance to NANCY
* She died of an overdose in the late 80's
*Carmen comes from extreme money and never cared about rules.
*Carmen has fun hunting people and is addicted to fear.
*Carmen always falls in love with man she can't have.
5. Secondary Character, Elizabeth:Shoots 1 DAY
- Non-speaking role.
- Early to mid 30's.
- The woman that Henry tormented in the past. Commits su***de. She was a secretary in the early 1950's living in a trailer.
Need a good actor. Intense emotional scene.
