SAVE THIS POST AND SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS 👇🏼Venetian Pool in Coral Gables has officially reopened after a complete renovation — and it’s one of the most unique family destinations in South Florida.
Built over 100 years ago from a coral rock quarry, this is the largest freshwater pool in the United States and the only pool listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The water comes from an underground aquifer and is drained and refilled with fresh spring water every day. The pool features waterfalls, caves, a kiddie area, and an on-site cafe.
